The use of American oak barrels and blending before barrel aging is the secret to Silver Oak's winemaking style. Blending before barrel aging allows for the unique expression of the different vineyard blocks to come together before any wood influences. This makes it easy for the exotic coconut and vanilla flavors from American oak to layer in seamlessly, resulting in beautifully integrated wines that consistently deliver their hallmark ready-to-drink pleasure upon release, vintage after vintage.
