From the winemakers: "What started as a way to joke about the disasters and inconveniences of 2020, has transcended vintage and norms. We can now joke about this wine, about how it relates to life and about how freakin good it is. We all know a Trash fire or two, whether it’s a co-worker, a friend or even that day, yourself.
Hand picked, hand sorted and 100% whole cluster co-ferment. For the first week I only did pump overs and after that mostly foot stomping to release more sugar and color. Pressed to neutral French oak and aged for 5months. Bottled early to keep this wine fresh and delicious. Very low SO2."
The nose hints at dried sticky cherries and cranberries. Springs onto your tongue with the playfulness of bubblegum and blueberry candy, reminiscent of a fruit punch blow pop or a melting berry popsicle on a summer's day. This co-ferment of Chardonnay and Grenache is a light and refreshing wine, somewhere between a rosato and a chilled red. Plays well with food or nothing at all. (Distributor)
From the winemakers: "Single varietal Clairette Blanche is extremely rare as it's typically used as a blending grape. This expression is clear, and bright, true to its name of Clairette meaning clear light in French.
A very clean and mineral nose along with aromas of sour pineapple, and salty lime. Slightly chalky mineral driven palate expressing crunchy green apple, citrus, white blossoms, and a kiss of fennel seeds. This wine has a pleasant weight in your mouth while still ending clean, crisp and refreshing."
