From the winery:
Sight - Orange color that with the ageing is turning to amber with golden hues.
Nose - Consistent, powerful (characteristic of the skin-fermented white wine) - hints of fennel and citrus (tangerine peel).
Palate - Voluminous and tasty entry. Unctuous and aromatic wine with saline notes, good acidity and a fresh, tannic, well-balanced and long aftertast.
From the winemaker: "Organic “natural” amber wine made from the Pansa Rosada and Pansa Blanca variety (Xarel-lo vermell & Xarel-lo). The grapes are harvested by hand in an extraordinary state of health. After a light pressing to extract only the first press must, the grape skins are not removed, and stay in contact with the juice during the spontaneous fermentations in amphoras made of sauló. We aim at increasing the “terroir” character: the shape of the amphoras enables the free movement of the lees, thus providing a “natural bâtonnage.” No sulphites or any other products are added throughout the process.
