2015 LAURENT FAMILY SAUVIGNON BLANC VALLE CENTRAL SAUVIGNON BLANC, CHILE. 100% Sauvignon Blanc. (Organic)

From the the Valle de Central of Chile, which stretches from Santiago south to the Bío Bío River and between the Andes and the Chilean coastal range. Damien Laurent moved from his native Bordeaux where he made wine for over a decade at his family’s Chateau L’Escart and Le Bergey estates to grow and make wine in his wife’s native land of Chile. He was inspired by the potential of Chile Valley and planted grapes in 2008; together they produce terroir-driven, naturally made wines from new and old plantings – the Sauvignon Blanc comes from cool sites in the Valle Central appellation. Fermented and aged in stainless steel with native yeasts, this crisp white shows Sauvignon Blanc marker of tropical citrus with grassy herb notes and refreshing acidity. It’s a great partner to fresh ceviches and seafood as well as green vegetables and salads.
