2015 LAURENT FAMILY "CULPABLE" VALLE DE CURICO PINOT NOIR

2015 LAURENT FAMILY "CULPABLE" VALLE DE CURICO PINOT NOIR, CHILE. 100% Pinot Noir. (Organic)

From the Valle de Curico in Chile, about 200 miles south of Santiago. Damien Laurent moved from his native Bordeaux where he made wine for over a decade at his family’s Chateau L’Escart and Le Bergey estates to grow and make wine in his wife’s native land of Chile. He was inspired by the potential of the Maipo Valley and planted grapes in 2008; together they produce terroir-driven, naturally made wines from new and old plantings – this one comes from an older planting in the Curico Valley to the south. Fermented and aged in stainless steel free from heavy wood influences or excessive manipulation, this is a fresh, bright, and easy-drinking Pinot with subtle earth and spice notes for enjoying every day, with or without food.
