2017 KEN WRIGHT WILLAMETTE VALLEY PINOT NOIR, OREGON. 100% Pinot Noir.
The Ken Wright Cellars Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is a snapshot representation of all of their 13 single vineyard Pinot Noir sites in one bottle. It expresses floral and spice notes from the marine sedimentary sites and the fruit focused qualities from the volcanic sites. Always iincredibly well balanced and lush wine with beautiful structure and acidity. It is medium bodied, with fresh fruits of bright cherry and marionberry that mingle with notes of warming spices, rose petals, fresh turned earth, cola and tobacco. All of the components of this wine come from their core vineyards where they control the farming and focus on the nutrition of the vines. They do not and will not outsource bulk wine. Aged 11 months in 100% neutral French oak barrels. 13.5 ABV.
