2015 CAYMUS "CONUNDRUM" CALIFORNIA WHITE BLEND, CALIFORNIA.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary with a cool new label, America's favorite white blend is here to refresh you over this hot Labor Day holiday. Per tradition, winemakers Chris Bolta and Charlie Wagner II never reveal the exact percentages of this blend that is unique to the Wagner family, but you can expect the usual suspects: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Muscat Canelli and Viognier, from top vineyard sources throughout California from Napa to Santa Barbara. Each lot is vinified separately utilizing a combination stainless steel and French oak to draw out each varietal's characteristics in order to create the perfect balance of exotic aromatics, succulent flavor, silky mouthfeel, and kiss of sweetness matched by natural acidity that fans know and love. The 2015 is all about tropical fruits - pineapple, coconut, and citrus - with hints of honeysuckle and spice. It's the perfect choice for sizzling fajitas, smoking barbeque, or just lake/river/beach/poolside sipping.

About: The story of "Conundrum" began at the dinner table. Charlie Wagner Sr., who co-founded Caymus Vineyards in 1972 with his wife, Lorna, and son, Chuck, would mix wines to find the perfect glass to pair with his meal. No one blended wines back then, so his experiment was pretty radical. (Winery)
