Meiomi is made by Joe Wagner, fifth generation Napa Valley winemaker and son of Caymus founder Chuck Wagner. Joe founded Belle Glos first, then followed up by creating Meiomi as a sister brand with the objective of delivering an affordable, food-friendly Pinot to the market for under $25. Aged entirely in French oak, the Meiomi Pinot is composed of fruit from California appellations noted for great Pinot Noir including Monterey, Sonoma and Santa Barbara counties. Meiomi's signature silken texture, supple tannins, and balanced acidity is achieved each vintage by vinifying the lots separately first, then blending to reach perfect balance. Meiomi consistently produces one of the best California Pinot Noir values.
