Exclusively from Block 41 of Ancient Peaks' Estate Margarita Vineyard, where the vines occupy rocky alluvial soils, ideal for growing Sauvignon Blanc with Bordeaux-like qualities. Ancient Peaks is located in the southernmost tip of Paso Robles, very close to the ocean, where it enjoys cooler and more maritime-influenced microclimates compared with the warmer regions to the north. Variations elevation and exposure to the elements, including dramatically cooling temperatures as this vineyard block slopes downward, make for Sauvignon Blanc with high natural acidity and a range of expression.

Fermented and aged for five months in stainless steel, this displays textbook SB aromas and flavors of lime zest, grassy herb and gooseberry. The palate is crisp and clean, offering quenching flavors of grapefruit, white peach and green apple, with mouthwatering acidity at the finish.
