2018 SEAN MINOR "FOUR BEARS" CENTRAL COAST PINOT NOIR ROSE, CALIFORNIA. 100% Pinot Noir.
This great value in California rose was produced using the classic saignée method, allowing juice to remain in contact with the skins for about 24 hours. The juice is then “bled” from the tank before fermentation begins. The resulting wine is fermented dry developing its pink color, aromatics and bright fruit flavors. Vibrant cherry, strawberry, cranberry and ripe watermelon aromas and flavors lead in the nose, followed by delicate red fruits on the palate and a thirst-quenching finish. Perfect summertime sipper. About: The Minor family founded the Four Bears Winery in 2005, later incorporating this label under the new name, Sean Minor Wines. The varietal wines produced include Central Coast Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc from Dry Creek, and Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Carneros Pinot Noir from Napa Valley. Will Bucklin is the winery's winemaking consultant. They developed a friendship at King Estate Winery in Oregon where Bucklin was a winemaker and Sean Minor was the General Manager.
