2014 LAMOTHE DE HAUX "TRADITIONNELLE" CADILLAC-COTES DE BORDEAUX, FRANCE. 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc.
Located in just south of the city of Bordeaux on prime Right Bank slopes, Chateau Lamothe has been producing estate-bottled wine since the 16th century.
Fermentation is conducted in such a way as to obtain a smooth, fruity, easy-to-drink wine with soft tannin- in short a very pleasurable experience. Best enjoyed with white meat, roast red meats and hard cheeses. It can age approximately five years depending on the vintage, but also enjoyable when young.
