Located in just south of the city of Bordeaux on prime Right Bank slopes, Chateau Lamothe has been producing estate-bottled wine since the 16th century. This traditional blend of 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Cabernet Franc shows rich red and blackberry fruit with great complexity and structure for its price. It is a delight to drink now but can hold for another 7 years. Recommended with grilled or braised meat dish or hard cheese.
