LES TETES "TETE AU BOIS D'ORMANT ROSE SPARKLING VIN DE FRANCE, LOIRE VALLEY, FRANCE. 60% Grolleau 40% Gamay. (Organic)

This delicious rose bubbly is a blend of Grolleau and Gamay from 25 year-old vines planted to clay and limestone soils from Château de Rigny-Ussé in the Loire Valley of France. Since 2014, the vineyard has been in conversion to organic farming. All the fruit is hand-harvested with indigenous yeast fermentation, traditional method (second fermentation in bottle), low SO2 at bottling. The color is a bright, light pink. Currants and berries show on the nose. This sparkling rosé has a fruity palate supported by fine bubbles and a nice balance of freshness. Enjoy on its own or with light appetizers, fresh cheeses and salads.
