The Txakoli of Southern France! From terraced vineyards in the Cotes Catalanes, a stone's throw from the Mediterranean Sea, this playful blend of Muscat, Macabeu and Grenache Blanc is youthful, aromatic, light and slightly fizzy, just like the famously brisk white of the coastal Basque region of Spain. Cathy and Phillipe Sisqueille are fourth-generation winemakers in this part of the Roussillon and their vineyards are characterized by clay subsoil laden with pebbles and rolled stones. From sustainably farmed vineyards and fermented in stainless steel, this is a truly unique wine, one the producers initially intended for home consumption but everyone loved it so much, they began producing it for the greater market. In Catalan, "Si’s Plau" means“please”, and at a low 11.5 ABV, a glass of this refreshing white is an invitation hard to refuse. Yes, please!
