2016 CROCI "CAMPEDELLO" COLLI PIACENTINI VINO BIANCO FRIZZANTE
About: In the Croci family, passion for the land is handed down from generation to generation. Along the Val d'Arda, on the first hills of Piacenza, right across from the medieval village of Castell, stands the Tenuta Vitivinicola Croci. Surrounded by a beautiful landscape, the young owner Massimiliano and his father Ermano run the family business that was founded in 1935. Originally founded by Giuseppe Crosses three generations ago, the Croci family is committed to cultivating their land with love and respect for nature. Croci Ermano is located on the hill of Monterosso Val d'Arda, which is 250 meters above sea level and overlooks the plains of Piacenza. The vines are favored by sunlight and mineral rich soil that millions of years ago, was under the sea. Farming 12 hectares of land, all their vines are Guyot trained. The vineyard is free of toxic substances, synthetic herbicides, and chemical fertilizers. By respecting the land, the vines, and their natural cycles, Massimiliano and Ermano produce genuine wines that reflect the natural beauty of the land. The harvest is done by hand; the time between harvest and pressing is minimal, the grapes are placed in small crates and then processed in a traditional way to maintain all the characteristics and properties of grapes.(Importer)
