Who doesn't love Vinho Verde? The light, slightly effervescent Portuguese quaffer has moderate alcohol and is super refreshing, perfect for afternoon sipping. Though "Vinho Verde" literally translates from Portuguese to "green wine" it actually means "young wine" - a reference to the tradition of early picking of the grapes to preserve high natural acidity for it's signature refreshing taste. A new arrival to our shelves, this one from Val do Homem is produced exclusively from the indigenous Loureiro grape variety and shows bright citrus aromas and flavors with delicate floral undertones. With a crisp texture and mouthwatering acidity, it offers an elegant take on the style and makes a terrific partner for fresh fish and seafood.
