2013 BRECHET (DOMAINE DE BOSQUETS) GIGONDAS
90 points Robert Parker: "Coming from tiny yields in the realm of 16 hectoliters per hectare and a vintage Julien call the "Suicide Vintage," the 2013 Gigondas wasn't harvested until the end of October with Grenache yields down over 50%. It's an outstanding wine that shows the cooler style of the vintage beautifully. Pepper, crushed rocks, spice, flowers and and currants all emerge from this medium-bodied, nicely concentrated, elegant and fresh 2013 that will keep through 2025." (JD, 08/2016)
The Brechet family owns top estates in the Southern Rhone including Chateau Vaudieu in Chateauneuf du Pape and Domaine des Bosquets in Gigondas, and are doing outstanding work in Lirac. (Winery)
